WordPress

WordPress web design
and development.

WordPress is the right choice when your team publishes a lot of content and wants to edit it without calling a developer. Done badly, it is slow, fragile and a security risk. We build lean custom WordPress sites — no page-builder bloat, few plugins, fast and accessible — and keep them updated.

What we build

WordPress,
built properly

01

Custom themes

A theme built for your site, not a $59 multipurpose theme with fifty features you never use slowing every page.

02

Editor your team can use

Blocks and fields designed around your content, so editors can publish without breaking the layout.

03

Speed

Caching, image optimization and minimal plugins, so pages pass Core Web Vitals on mobile.

04

Security and updates

Hardened setup, automatic backups, core and plugin updates and monitoring on the maintenance plan.

05

WooCommerce

Online stores on WordPress, connected to your inventory, shipping and accounting.

06

Migrations and rescues

Moving from another platform, or fixing a slow or hacked WordPress site, with redirects planned so rankings survive.

The reality

When WordPress fits,
and when it does not

WordPress fits content-heavy sites: blogs, resource libraries, news, multi-author marketing sites, and teams that want full control of their content.

For a small brochure site that changes twice a year, a lighter static site is faster, cheaper to host and harder to hack. For complex applications, a custom web app is the better foundation. We will tell you which on the first call.

Either way, you own the site, the content and the code, with the hosting account in your name.

Maintenance

A WordPress site
needs looking after.

Most hacked WordPress sites were not attacked cleverly; they were simply not updated. Our maintenance covers updates, backups, uptime monitoring and security checks.

We keep the plugin list short on purpose: every plugin is code someone else maintains, and every one adds risk and weight.

Sites start from €350 one-off; larger custom WordPress builds get a fixed quote.

How we work

Fixed price,
no surprises.

  1. Free 30-minute callWhat you sell, who to, and what the site or software has to do. No sales deck. Sometimes the honest conclusion is that you need less than you thought.
  2. Fixed-price quoteOne figure in writing, covering everything needed to go live. It does not move mid-project: anything you add later is quoted separately, and only if you ask.
  3. Built in stagesYou see something usable within the first weeks, then every week after. Corrections happen during the build, not in a big review at the end.
  4. Launch and afterGo-live, checks, training for your team. Maintenance is optional — you are not locked in, and the domain, accounts and source code are in your company's name.

FAQ

The questions we always get.

Do you use page builders like Elementor?

Only when a client specifically needs one. A custom block-based theme is usually faster and easier for editors to use safely.

Can you speed up our existing WordPress site?

Usually, yes: we audit theme and plugins, remove what is not needed and fix caching and images.

Can you fix a hacked WordPress site?

Yes: clean-up, hardening, updated credentials and a check that search engines have not flagged the site.

How much does a website cost?

A company website costs €350 one-off, plus €150 if you want the initial optimization for Google and Bing, or €24.80 a month with hosting, domain, maintenance and content changes included on a 24-month minimum term. Web apps start at €50 a month or €750 one-off; custom business software starts at €1,500. Larger projects get a fixed quote after a free analysis.

Will we own the website and the code?

Yes. On the one-off option the domain, hosting, content and source code are registered in your company's name from go-live, and the code lives in your repository. There is no license tied to us and no lock-in.

Do we pay VAT or sales tax on your invoice?

Our invoices to US businesses are issued without Italian VAT, because business services sold outside the EU are not subject to it, and as a foreign service provider we do not add US sales tax. Your accountant will confirm how to record it on your side — it is a standard cross-border arrangement.

Got a project in the US?

Thirty minutes on a video call, free and with no sales deck: we tell you what you actually need, what it costs and how long it takes to go live. If we are not the right fit, we tell you that too.
