What Anuga is and what it asks of a stand

Anuga is the world's largest food and beverage fair. Every two years, in October, Koelnmesse hosts thousands of exhibitors in themed shows, from fresh and frozen food to meat, bakery, organic and drinks, with retail chains and importers from every continent.

Asian exporters are among the largest groups at Anuga: rice, spices, snacks, seafood and processed food from India, Pakistan, China, Thailand and Vietnam, often inside national pavilions. A stand that lets buyers taste safely, keeps products at the right temperature and offers a quiet table for negotiations makes the difference.

What a stand for Anuga needs

Equipped tasting counter. Washable tops, sink, under-counter fridges and power for coffee machines or slicers, as hygiene rules require.
Refrigerated displays. Fresh and frozen products on show at temperature, with electrical connections sized on real loads.
Products in good light. Shelving and lighting that show packaging and colours as they are.
Buyer meeting room. A closed space for talks with retail chains and importers.
Storage room. Space for stock, cartons and samples so the stand stays tidy for five days.

Exhibiting from Asia or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with a European stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in your language (Chinese, Hindi, Urdu and more) with the help of translation tools.
Coordinated crews, warehouse and production. Partner installation crews, our warehouse and trusted workshops for all wood-based structures and furniture, coordinated by one team: one point of control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer at home has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in Asia or anywhere else, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Our own production

We make every wooden element ourselves, from A to Z.

Walls, counters, desks, platforms, display units, shelves and furniture in wood: we design them around your brand, have them built by selected partner workshops we have worked with for years, and manage transport and installation at the fair ourselves. One contact person runs design, production, transport and installation, so you never have to chase separate suppliers. We use Class 1 fire-rated certified materials and have already built more than 300 stands.

No third-party mark-up

Builders without production buy walls and furniture from others and add their margin. We don't: for the same stand, the price is lower.

Every piece is built on the size of your space and your products, not adapted from a catalogue.

Questions we are often asked.

Can you build our Anuga stand inside a national pavilion?

Yes. We work on space-only plots and inside national or regional pavilions, following the pavilion's graphic and height rules.

Can you supply refrigerated displays?

Yes, with the electrical and water connections ordered from Koelnmesse.

How much does a stand for Anuga cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in our own language?

Yes. Write to us in English, Chinese, Hindi, Urdu or your language: we reply in your language with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
