What KEY is and what it asks of a stand

KEY – The Energy Transition Expo is the renewable energy and energy efficiency exhibition of Rimini Expo Centre: photovoltaics, storage, wind, e-mobility, heat pumps, grids and services. Every March it meets installers, distributors, designers, utilities and energy-intensive companies.

A very large share of exhibitors are international manufacturers of modules, inverters and batteries, many of them from China, next to Italian distributors and installers. In halls full of similar products, the stand must explain in a few seconds what makes your technology different and leave room for meetings with distributors.

What a stand for KEY needs

Walls for PV modules. Structures that hold large modules vertically or tilted, as on a roof, safely.
Inverters and batteries on display. Bases, technical walls and guards for heavy equipment, connected and working if the regulations allow it.
Explaining the technology. Screens, cutaways and graphics on efficiency, warranties and certifications.
Distributor area. Tables and rooms for commercial meetings, away from the visitor flow.
Consistent with the theme. Reusable structures, LED lighting and fabric graphics: at an energy transition fair, people notice.

Design and 3D render

Your stand designed on your floor space and position in the hall, approved by you before anything is built.

Materials and components

Structures, walls, floors, furniture and every component required by the design and by the fair's technical regulations.

Graphics, lighting and electrics

Printing, electrical system with Italian declaration of conformity, lighting, carpet, screens and LED walls.

Installation crews on site

Our own crews and partners build the stand during the official build-up days and dismantle it after the show.

Shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built stands, rented or owned.

Logistics, storage, paperwork

Transport, passes and unloading slots, approval of the project by the organiser, storage between shows.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Our own crews, warehouse and production. Installation crews, warehouse and in-house production of structures, furniture and graphics: fewer subcontractors, more control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Questions we are often asked.

Can the walls carry large-format PV modules?

Yes, if designed for it: we size structures and fixings on the formats and weights of your modules.

Can we show inverters and batteries connected?

It depends on the fair's technical regulations: we plan bases, guards and electrics and submit the project for approval.

How much does a stand for KEY cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
