What Pitti Uomo is and what it asks of a stand

Pitti Uomo is the world's leading menswear fair, held twice a year, in January and June, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. Brands, from established houses to young designers, present their collections to buyers from department stores and boutiques worldwide, and to the press.

International brands, including Asian labels, use Pitti to enter European retail. The venue is a sixteenth-century fortress: no drilling, limited loads and strict access. Stands must be free-standing, light and quick to build, yet finished like a boutique, because Pitti visitors look at a stand with a fashion buyer's eye.

What a stand for Pitti Uomo needs

Free-standing structures. No fixing to the historic walls: self-supporting stands compatible with the venue's rules.
Boutique displays. Rails, shelves, mannequins and tables that present the collection as in a shop.
Light on fabrics. Lighting that shows colour and texture of fabrics faithfully.
Two seasons a year. Structure and furniture you own, new graphics every edition, stored by us between January and June.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Our own crews, warehouse and production. Installation crews, warehouse and in-house production of structures, furniture and graphics: fewer subcontractors, more control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Can you build at the Fortezza da Basso?

Yes, with light, free-standing structures, respecting the organiser's rules and the constraints of the historic venue.

Can the same stand be used in January and June?

Yes: structure and furniture stay the same, graphics and layout change, and we store the stand between editions.

How much does a stand for Pitti Uomo cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
