What Lamiera is and what it asks of a stand

Lamiera is the exhibition of machines and technologies for sheet metal, tube and profile processing: laser and plasma cutting, bending, punching, welding, automation and software. It is held at Fiera Milano Rho and attracts machine builders, subcontractors and metal fabricators.

Many international builders exhibit, including several Chinese manufacturers of laser cutting and bending machines. Machines are big, heavy and work in front of visitors: the stand must carry them, protect people and let buyers see them up close.

What a stand for Lamiera needs

Bases and load-bearing floors. Loads calculated on machine weight, cable channels under the floor.
Power and compressed air. Connections ordered from the organiser on the machines' data.
Guards and walkways. Barriers and distances for cutting and bending demonstrations.
Sample parts. Showcases for processed parts, which often convince more than the machine.
Meeting room. Space for technical and commercial negotiations.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Our own crews, warehouse and production. Installation crews, warehouse and in-house production of structures, furniture and graphics: fewer subcontractors, more control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Can the stand carry a laser cutting machine?

Yes, we design floors and bases on the machine's weight and footprint and coordinate its positioning.

Do you handle power and compressed air?

Yes, we calculate requirements from your data sheets and order them from the organiser.

How much does a stand for Lamiera cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
