What Salone del Mobile is and what it asks of a stand

Salone del Mobile.Milano is the global reference event for furniture and design. Every April, Fiera Milano Rho hosts furniture, furnishing accessory and lighting companies presenting their new collections to architects, retailers, contract buyers and the press. Biennial shows alternate alongside it: in 2027 it is the turn of Euroluce, dedicated to lighting.

More and more furniture and lighting companies from China and the rest of Asia exhibit in Milan to position themselves on design, not just on price. At the Salone a stand is judged like a product: proportions, materials, joints and light. A misaligned panel or a raw edge is noticed immediately.

What a stand for Salone del Mobile needs

Complete room settings. Walls, ceilings, floors and backdrops that turn the stand into a home, an office or a hotel room where the product is seen in use.
High-end finishes. Lacquers, veneers, fabrics and metals chosen as for a quality interior, with samples approved before production.
Designed lighting. Accent and ambient lighting and colour temperature studied on the materials; for Euroluce, your lamps integrated into the design.
Certified materials. Fire-rated materials and verified structures as required by the technical regulations, with the paperwork for the organiser.
Strict build-up schedule. Access, times and unloading at Rho are tightly regulated: we plan crews and deliveries day by day.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Our own crews, warehouse and production. Installation crews, warehouse and in-house production of structures, furniture and graphics: fewer subcontractors, more control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Questions we are often asked.

Do you build stands for Euroluce?

Yes. In 2027 Euroluce runs alongside the Salone: we design stands where light is the product, with ceilings, screens and electrical systems sized on your lamps.

Can you also set up a showroom or event during Milan Design Week?

Yes, besides the stand at the fair we fit out spaces in the city, showrooms and events.

How much does a stand for Salone del Mobile cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
