What Sicam is and what it asks of a stand

Sicam is the international exhibition of components, accessories and semi-finished products for the furniture industry, held every October at Pordenone Fiere. Hinges, runners, handles, panels, surfaces, lighting and fittings suppliers meet furniture manufacturers and designers.

Component makers from Italy, Germany, Turkey and Asia, including Chinese hardware and panel manufacturers, exhibit at Sicam. Buyers want to touch and try: drawers that open, hinges that close, surfaces to compare. The stand is a working showroom of small details.

What a stand for Sicam needs

Working samples. Cabinets and drawers that visitors can open and try, built to resist three days of use.
Hardware walls. Panels to show hinges, handles and runners by family, at eye level.
Panel and surface displays. Racks and pull-out displays for many finishes in little space.
Lighting for finishes. Light that shows textures and colours faithfully.
Close to us. Pordenone is a few kilometres from Mansuè: fast logistics and support.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Our own crews, warehouse and production. Installation crews, warehouse and in-house production of structures, furniture and graphics: fewer subcontractors, more control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Questions we are often asked.

Can you build working cabinets to show our hardware?

Yes, we build display furniture around your components so visitors can try them.

Is Pordenone close to your base?

Yes, our base in Mansuè is a few kilometres away, which keeps logistics short.

How much does a stand for Sicam cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
