What Sigep is and what it asks of a stand

Sigep World is the international exhibition of the sweet foodservice: gelato, pastry, bakery, chocolate and coffee. Every January, Rimini Expo Centre hosts ingredient producers, machine and display case makers and furniture companies meeting artisans, chains and distributors from all over the world.

At Sigep everything happens live: gelato is churned in front of visitors, pastry chefs give demonstrations, coffee is extracted all day. Equipment makers from Europe and Asia, including Chinese manufacturers of machines and display cases, exhibit here. The stand is an open laboratory that needs power, water and drainage, and has to stay clean for five busy days.

What a stand for Sigep needs

Open laboratory. Worktops, sinks and equipment laid out so visitors see the work without getting in the way.
Refrigerated display cases. Gelato and pastry cases built into the counter, with power and ventilation planned.
Water and drainage. Supply and drains for machines, washing and the lab, coordinated with the hall's technical services.
Tasting areas and demo stage. Space to taste and watch demonstrations, with microphones and screens if needed.
Easy-clean surfaces. Materials that resist sugar, milk and water until the last day.

Your stand designed on your floor space and position in the hall, approved by you before anything is built.

Materials and components

Structures, walls, floors, furniture and every component required by the design and by the fair's technical regulations.

Printing, electrical system with Italian declaration of conformity, lighting, carpet, screens and LED walls.

Installation crews on site

Our own crews and partners build the stand during the official build-up days and dismantle it after the show.

Logistics, storage, paperwork

Transport, passes and unloading slots, approval of the project by the organiser, storage between shows.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Our own crews, warehouse and production. Installation crews, warehouse and in-house production of structures, furniture and graphics: fewer subcontractors, more control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Can you bring water and drainage into a Sigep stand?

Yes, we plan them in the project and coordinate them with Rimini Expo Centre's technical services.

Can you build counters around our own display cases?

Yes, we design counters on the dimensions of your cases and calculate the power they need.

How much does a stand for Sigep cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
