What Marmomac is and what it asks of a stand

Marmomac is the international exhibition of natural stone, stone design and processing technology, held at the end of September at Veronafiere. Quarries, workshops, slab distributors and machine builders meet architects, designers and buyers from all over the world.

Stone companies and machinery makers from China, Turkey, India, Brazil and many other countries exhibit next to the Italian stone districts. At Marmomac the stand is engineering, not just image: slabs and blocks weigh hundreds of kilos or several tonnes, machines often run, and stone must be lit so that veining and colour read correctly.

What a stand for Marmomac needs

Load-bearing floors and platforms. We calculate loads and design floors and platforms for the weight of slabs, blocks and machines.
Racks and walls for slabs. Structures sized to show slabs vertically and safely, with verified anchoring.
Colour-faithful grazing light. Lighting that brings out veining, polish and texture without distorting the colour of the material.
Handling heavy materials. Delivery times for heavy items coordinated with the organiser's schedule and the lifting equipment in the hall.
Working machines. Proper power connections, guards and safety distances for live demonstrations.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Our own crews, warehouse and production. Installation crews, warehouse and in-house production of structures, furniture and graphics: fewer subcontractors, more control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Questions we are often asked.

Can the stand walls carry stone slabs?

Yes, if designed for it: we size structures, anchoring and floors on the materials you want to show. We need sizes and weights of the slabs in advance.

Do you handle the unloading of heavy materials?

We coordinate deliveries, times and lifting equipment with the organiser, so slabs arrive when the structure is ready to take them.

How much does a stand for Marmomac cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
